Goals and Objectives

Increase user engagement and satisfaction by redesigning the EVBOX app UI to streamline the EV charging process and enhance usability.

User Research(Responsible)

  • Performed surveys and interviews with current EVBOX app users to identify pain points and usability issues.

  • Analyze app usage data to understand which features are most frequently used and where users drop off.

User Personas(Responsible)

  • Personas to represent different user segments with varying needs and preferences.

Create Wireframes and Prototypes(Responsible)

  • Used Figma to create wireframes depicting the new app layout and navigation structure.

  • Developed interactive prototypes to visualize the user flow and gather feedback from stakeholders.

Design UI Elements (Accountable)

  • Design visually appealing UI elements such as buttons, icons, and menus consistent with the EVBOX brand identity.

  • Ensure accessibility and usability by following best practices for color contrast and font size.

Implement Front-End Development(Consulted)

  • Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to code the front-end of the new UI based on the finalized designs.

  • Ensure responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes for a seamless user experience.

Conduct Usability Testing (Responsible)

  • Recruit participants representative of the target user personas to test the new UI.

  • Observe user interactions, gather feedback, and identify any usability issues or areas for improvement.

Iterate Based on Feedback(Accountable)

  • Analyze usability testing results and iterate on the UI design to address any identified issues.

  • Make adjustments to improve navigation, clarity, and overall user experience.

Integrate Analytics Tools (Responsible)

  • Implement Google Analytics or similar tools to track user engagement, app usage metrics, and performance data.

  • Set up event tracking to monitor specific user actions such as charging session bookings and account registrations.

Launch and Monitor Performance (Responsible)

  • Roll out the new UI to a subset of users initially to gather real-world feedback.

  • Monitor key success metrics such as DAU, NPS, conversion rates, and app performance.

  • Continuously analyze data and user feedback to identify areas for further optimization post-launch.
